From the USBA Newsletter: Won by Sang Lee, third ranked player in the world, current U.S. Champion. Sid Banner, proprieter of Boca Billiards, staged a European type format- 15 point race to two. An exciting tournament with some surprises: Byung Soo Kim (New York City) ran 15 and out; Stany Buyle from Belgium competed and cam in Third; and beat Sang Lee in a Prelim set!
Prize money was not reported, nor were averages. Three players advanced from each of the three brackets making a nine player round robin final tournament.
