Early Brunswick (likely) Butterfly Spliced Cue

Antique butterfly spliced cue likely made by Brunswick. The base or bottom wood is Amaranth (purple heart), spliced to straight grained maple with two veneers. There are no other decorative elements. Joint screw protrudes from the shaft rather than the butt as in most cues made today. Cue in very good original condition.
